vSphere Replication error insufficient storage space but free space still remain on datastore

Hi,

I am currently implementing a Disaster recovery system. For replication we use vSphere replication. But now I found an error.

The error is "virtual machine replication error: insufficient storage space on device datastore path [datastore]"

I have replicate 64 Virtual Machine. when i want to add more Virtual Machine to replicate the replication will stop and the error alert occured.

I've checked the space datastore, the datastore has 31 TB space and free space still left 27 TB all virtual machine have thin provision type.

does thin provision in vmware datastore have maximum limits?

I have searched KB and articles about the following error but i did not find the solution.

For Information i'm using vCenter 6.0 U1, vSphere Replication 6.1.1.14190-4595498 and here the picture of the error alert and the datastore free space

Hi,

I am having the same replication error on multiple VMs. What is the cause and solution to this problem? At this moment, i remove the vmdk that is having the alert from the replication and status is back to normal.
