Hi,
is it possible to have a solution on vSphere in case one host fails, VMs are migrated to another host without rebooting?
Thank you.
Check out "ProActive HA" or "vSphere Fault Tolerance".

Joerg
Except proactive HA doesn't entail an ESXi host failing. The only vSphere-native technology that will get you this is Fault Tolerance. But FT has some severe caveats you need to read and consider. It is NOT a solution for all problems and, as I think I've said in the past, more commonly this needs to be solved at a higher level in the application and possibly the network.
