Question :
What vSphere license version you need to use Flash Read Cache?
From a moderate search I'm not seeing anything saying it's limited to a license edition. If you have a vCenter Server along with hosts (not using one of the limited packaged sets) then you should be good to go.
If you still want to know, I'd reach out to VMware directly to confirm this is the case.
Enterprise Plus only.
Hello golddiggie,
Appreciate the response. I have found some blog/article saying that feature is available in "enterprise plus" only but those were outdated though.
If you don't mind, please proceed asking VMware. That will be a great help.
Thank you.
It's still Enterprise plus as I said. Also, no, we are not opening cases and asking VMware for you.
Hello,
Missed to read your response, apology for that. Thank you for the response.
I'll appreciate it if you can share updated document mentioning licensing requirement.
