vSphere Console not accessible

Hi community,

I'm facing an issue reaching the vSphere Console on my ESXi since a long time (and several updates) and cannot find a solution. When I'm trying to access the console via https://x.x.x.x/ (doesn't matter if I add /ui or /vphere-console) the browser runs into a timeout. Via Wireshark I could see, that the TCP connection was established an the browser sent the client hello. After that there is no server hello from the ESXi.

I've checked /var/log/rhttpproxy.log and found the following log entries:

2019-08-17T16:28:01.061Z error rhttpproxy[2098632] [Originator@6876 sub=Default] SSL Async Handshake Timeout : Read timeout after approximately 25000ms. Closing stream <SSL(<io_obj p:0x000000a2f1f36e30, h:21, <TCP 'x.x.x.x : 443'>, <TCP 'x.x.x.x : 50841'>>)>

During the troubleshooting I've tried to access via OpenSSL s_client. That was successful, but after a GET-request to /ui no response.

Any ideas how I can get the vSphere Console back to life?

Thanks in advance.

Is there no one with any idea how to proceed with further troubleshooting? Did I miss to provide any helpful information?
