Just wanted to know some recommendations for acceleration kit. I learned that there is "the Enterprise Plus Acceleration Kit" in version 7 of vSphere/vCenter. It seems that it is cheaper than purchasing each of the vSphere and vCenter licenses. Which SKUs are good for each site?
We have 3 sites in different locations with configuration as below in each site:
Site 1:
Licenses:
- VMware vSphere 7 Enterprise Plus
- vCenter Server
Servers:
2 CPU/20 core server x 2 units
2 CPU/40 core server x 6 units
Total of CPUs= 16 CPUs
Total of Devices= 8 units
Site 2:
Licenses:
- VMware vSphere 7 Enterprise Plus
- vCenter Server
Servers:
2 CPU/20 core server x 2 units
2 CPU/40 core server x 6 units
Total of CPUs= 16 CPUs
Total of Devices= 8 units
Site 3:
Licenses:
- VMware vSphere 7 Enterprise Plus
- vCenter Server
Servers:
1 CPU/8 core server x 2 units
Total of CPUs= 2 CPUs
Total of Devices= 2 units
