Downloaded and installed ESXi 6.5u3 via the ISO.
Downloaded and installed this patch bundle:
ESXi 6.5 P06 ESXi650-202102001 2021/02/23
Put the patch file onto a datastore, manually ran the patch, everything was successful and version that was shown was 17477841 which is the latest according to the version matrix. Attached the host to vCenter and ran the update compliance check for all 6.5 patches and it found 27, 12 critical and a few high. Shouldn't the patch bundle contain all the previous patches?
