vMotion and clone Question

host 5.5 u3

host 5.5 u3

host 6.0 u3

host 5.5 vm -> clone -> host 6.0

Error occurred

- can not connect host -

There are two clusters in one vcenter.

And one cluster has two hosts with sharing storage.

One side of cluster host's IP address is 1.1.4.x and another side's IP is 1.1.3.x,

but two clusters have different sharing storage

In this case, would it be limited for offline vmotion and clone? Is it okay if communications is okay?

If there is a firewall, which port should I open?

Can you ping the hosts between them?

DO you have a firewall between them? Here is a list of ports Incoming and Outgoing Firewall Ports for ESXi Hosts

Since both cluster are managed by the same vCenter,should be a issue to do a cold migration (changing both the host and datastore)
