vMotion Support - 6.5

I just have a quick question which I think I already know the answer to, but if I have a cluster with EVC disabled, can two hosts with these CPU architectures vMotion between eachother?

E5-2690 v3

E5-2640 v3

My understanding is that as long as the CPU's are all Intel and that they are all the same family (v3 - Haswell), they won't have any restrictions.  Are there any downsides to putting these hosts in the same cluster together?

Thanks!

That *should* be ok because they're in the same series of CPU family. Putting those hosts in the same cluster should be fine, just keep in mind if the clock speeds vary significantly it can pose a challenge sometimes.
