vCenter server 6.0 license

Hi,

We have vCenter server 6.0 license for windows now we plan migrate in VCSA 6.7 the license will same use for VCSA or purchase new one?

6.7 is under the vSphere 6.x license, so you can use it to activate the 6.7 VCSA.

Well..... legaly its a little bit different.

You have take a look into your myvmware account check the runtime of your support contract. Each License is bundled with a Support and Subscription and when the later one ends youre not allowed to upgrade for "free".  So when your Subscription ends befor the release of 6.7 (10/2017?)  your are not allowed to update.

Technicly

- the license key havent change between 6.0 and 6.7

- vCenter Windows also includes the rights to use the VCSA. So VCSA is not extra license
