  • 1.  the reason why DRS migrate a VM is recorded?

    Hi guys,

does anyone know whether the vCenter record the reason why DRS migrate a VM to other host or not?

how do I see a VM is migrated(by DRS) because of memory utilization too high or insufficient CPU resource???

i checked this post Troubleshooting vMotion - VMware vSphere Blog

however, it seemed that only some basic information are recorded, such as migration ID and sequence state.

not sure whether the ESXi log or VM log store such information or not.

    thanks.
