Hi,
considering that vCenter has limits to how many storage vMotion you can do at once, what is the best way to perform such task (GUI vs powercli)?
Can you select say 50 VM's and if so will vCenter schedule them one/two at a time?
Thanks!
Regardless of what method you use to call the svMotion task, vCenter is still going to queue them up. I believe that number is four per host per datastore.

Hi
You can use the Task Scheduler or powercli:

thanks - probably not worth the hassle to script this if I can multi select the VM's and vCenter will queue them up for me.
