Hi Folks - this is the first I've seen this issue, a red circle with an exclamation point appearing on the VM, then it disappears, then a few minutes later reappears, yet my alerts show nothing..
Can someone in the know explain this to me? Even vRealize is not showing anything problematic with the VM... I'm losing faith in vRealize by the minute..
Bottom line, I suspect there is something wrong, the owner who is working with the app claims the app won't work, says it doesn't have enough resources, claims the physical instance of it had 64 cores and 512GB of memory, the VM doesn't have anything close to it (6 vCPUs and 16GB of memory).
IF there is a genuine performance problem, I'd say the real problem is VMware because the tools in vCenter and vRealize aren't producing anything of value.
None the less, looking for some guidance here.
