recovery files on virtual machine

HI, the help or the comment is necessary. We have on the HP G9 DL360 server with raid 1+0 ESXi 6.5. In one of virtual machines (Win 2008 R2) copied brolshy the file. For the unclear reason there is no file now.

Programs of recovery do not show at all files which ever passed through this virtual machine. Whether there is a way to look at "remote" files in the virtual machine?

I may be able to help with recovery issues but first you should ask a person that speaks english or german to translate for you.
Try to explain the problem as detailed as possible please.
