multipathing bonding

hi,

how is better to have disk multipathing and nic bonding-at esxi level or at VM level (means having linux on VM then we configure disk multipathing and nic bonding here)?

tnx

You would be adding complexity that is not really required (apart from very specific environments) if you were to take these to vm level. I would keep the disk and network managed by VMware rather than the VM.

Do you mean directpath i/o for a nic or do you mean two vNics added to a VM?
