  • 1.  decrease disk size on Esxi vm

    Hi Dear friends.i want to decrease VM disks size. on VM work exchnage server 2013 .if i wili  decrease size vm (https://woshub.com/shrinking-vmdk-virtual-disk-vmware-esxi/) connect SSH. after decrease Exchange server will work correct?

    In the past I have only used VMware Converter to resize a VM's disk which is now out of support. Even though the steps listed in the article may work, I do not believe it would be supported by Vmware if something were to happen. If you must try it and cannot purchase a third party tool to do this, I would suggest having a good backup of the VM first.

    Before decreasing make a clone of VM and test it there with the mentioned vCenter Converter. 

    Which drive do you want to shrink: C:\ or D:\
