create vmfs datastore an error occurred during host configuration

i am using truenas hard drive, when map to vmware i got 1 hard drive with Partition Format: Unknown

i use the command and it already has Partition Format: mbr

partedUtil setptbl /vmfs/devices/disks/naa.6589cfc000000c7a04e8f1fd63269702 msdos

i created new database and got this error and fix

Assuming that's a new, empty LUN, I'd suggest you do clear the partition table first, before trying to create a new datastore.

I'm not familiar with TrueNAS.

Assuming that you access the LUN via iSCSI, double-check the presentation on the NAS, as well as the network settings on the NAS, and the ESXi host (e.g. same MTU ...).
