create a new vm with a replication content

Hello,

i would like create a new vm with a replication content.

my idea was to take the vmdk file and the flat.vmdk file, and after to have upload this files, create the new vm with this disk.

but i see others files like delta.vmdk (hbrdisk.RDID)

what is the process for this files ? or maybe, I have to forget them ?

thanks

Hi

i'm not sure to understand

my vmdk files list in the path of my replication target :

  • vm_name.vmdk
  • vm_name-flat.vmdk
  • hbrdisk.RDID-.....vmdk
  • hbrdisk.RDID-.....-delta.vmdk

i have just one replication path and my vm, just one disk.

thanks

delta vmdk files are from VM snapshots.

How are you replicating the VM files?
