add new disk to esxi 6.5 server

my server have 3 disk and configure to raid 5, then install exsi 6.5 and create vm servers. now the server datastore has no more space but i need create new vm server. can i buy new disk and add to server (server have free disk slot) and expend the datastore volume? i need not impact current system.

You can not change RAID level online but you can buy disks and install on server then create a RAID and logical drive within the host by software tools.

software tools and supporting the operation is depends to your hardware vendor.
