Wrong Windows Server Version

I'm running vSphere 8 & Connection Server 2209

I have more than one 2022 Server VM with the latest Dev. Build (currently 25227)

One of them has started showing up as Windows Server 2022, AFTER Power on.

I looked in the Current version red key and see no reference so 2025

I changed HW version from 20 back to 19

I added and removed the VM

I edited the reference to 2025 in the vmx file to 2022, but when I Powered the machine on, It went back to 2022.

And of course, I changed the Guest OS Version to 2025 and 2019 and each Powers on as 2025

The machine is a Horizon Server as Desktop machine. How can I make/force it to show as Server "2022" Latest Horizon view does not support 2025 so the machine is grayed out.

Funny thing is the others are all fine and show Windows Server 2022 after power on and not 2025

The difference between the one that works and the one that doesn't was VMWARE tool. I had Toos 12.1 on the one that did not work and was showing Server 2020.

Uninstall Tools 12.1 an install the Host 12.06 and all if working fine, now.
