Hello everybody,
we recently migrated a few VMs from
vCenter 6.7.0.30000, VMware ESXi, 6.5.0, 13635690
VM Hardware Version 8
to
vSphere 7.0.2.00000, VMware ESXi, 7.0.1, 17551050
and upgraded the VM hardware to v18.
After doing that, every third party service on all Windows servers stopped starting automatically.
They are set to Auto, but can only be started manually or if the service is set to Auto (delayed) which is a workaround, but not what I want..
Any ideas what may cause this issue? Are there timers set to services that are based on the VM's hardware version?
