Windows Server Template - recovery partition

Hi all,

Regarding the recovery partition that is created automatically by Windows Server 2016 on install. Is this really required for a VM? Especially when VMs are being backed up with Veeam etc? Should this partition be deleted to allow the easier extension of C drive?

No, it's not required and is often deleted. Once deleted, any new free space can more easily be allocated to the system partition for expansion purposes.
