Windows 11 released version on vsphere 7.03 or fusion 12.2.0

I try to install the released version on a new virtual machine and have defined the iso as boot, but this will not be accepted, not on vsphere 7.03 and not on fusion 12.2.0

Thanks for help

Hi,

Fusion 12.2

We’ve been testing and have made some early minor enhancements to prepare for a more official Windows 11 support rollout in the near future. While we are not delivering a “proper” Windows 11 Guest OS type in this release, we have added to the Windows 10 Guest OS type (Now “Windows 10 and Later”) which provide a smooth transition to Windows 11 for existing users as well as supporting new installations from ISO.

vSphere

On products that support virtual hardware version 19 and below, where Microsoft Windows 11 (64bit) is unavailable, select Microsoft Windows 10 (64 bit) as the guest operating system for the virtual machine.
