Where to get free vSphere ESXi

Hi All,

I want to download Free vSphere ESXi software. I saw VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) 6.7U1 on the download page.

Question is what type i need to download?

1. Essentials

2. Essentials Plus

3. Standard

4. Enterprise

5. Enterprise Plus

6. Platinum

What is the different between them?

The "free" one is indeed the vSphere Hypervisor which your can download from Download VMware vSphere Hypervisor for Free

Yes you will get a free Licensekey during the download because the "Software" is always the same and the features will be acticated by the licensekey.

All the other stuff is the $$$ one and called vSphere ESXi and vCenter(central management). Different bundle and editions. Iam sure there is an edition overview on vmware.com.

VMware Essential KIT and Essential Plus are bundle product and it's only for small business.
