What is free version of VSphere virtual hardware specification limit?

Hi, I use VSphere version 6.7 and I want to know what is the maximum of resource someone can dedicate to a virtual machine created using the free edition of VSphere, specifically the following questions:

  1. How many CPU cores
  2. How much Memory (RAM)
  3. How much Disk

I don't think there is any restriction with respect to disk and memory. With respect to CPU, you can have a max. of 8 vCPUs per VM.

Thanks, Is VCPU equal to VCore? Suppose we have a server with two CPU with 24 core each. Can we dedicate a virtual machine 16 CPU core?

Unless there is a licensing constraint at the guest OS level, you can go with either 1 socket + 16 cores or 2 sockets + 8 cores.
