Vsphere / ESXi 7 & Server 2019 Guest unmap

The combo of Server 2019 + ESXi7 + VMFS6 does not appear to be working.  See screenshots - VMDK is 1TB despite 579GB free.

If I use sdelete + Offline VMDK punch 0 it will shrink.  How to make this work with in guest unmap?

Can Vmware please comment about this?

Note that VMTN is a user community forum, it isn’t an official support channel, almost everyone from VMware commenting here is most likely doing so in their own time.

Noted.

Just figuring they're people here using Server 2019 + Vmware products.  What is ones experience with ESXi 7, 2019, and Unmap.

Is it working for them?

For those interested - Ran some tests.  NTFS working.

My issue would appear to be related to REFS 3.4 (Server 2019 version)

I've confirmed my issue on 2 different ESXi 7 U1 hosts.  Both with REFS 3.4 Dedupe enabled +  disabled.
