Vmware Remote Console

Hi Folks,

my laptop is running W10 1803, we are running vSphere 6.5 and I access it via a vSphere web client I also have the remote console (10.0.3) installed, my issue is when I connect to any vm using the remote console it connects ok but my mouse movements don't work & I can't click on anything which is very annoying, has any experienced this before & do they know a fix? any help would be greatly appreciated.

*Note - doesn't matter what browser I use edge or IE11 remote console performs the same.

Thanks

Owen

It's a real PITA to get VM Tools installed on a Guest OS sometimes, especially if the VSphere Client can't force it to mount its .iso of the built-in one in the host.

You'll need to get crafty with trying your best to use keystrokes when possible, eventually you'll be able to run the Tools exe and follow through with tabs and return keys to complete it.
