Normally a Machine Check Exception is related to a hardware fault. This best option is to create a support call and upload the logs then VMware can give a definitive answer.
One thing to note is your build version is quite old (2017) so you might want to consider upgrading as the issue could have been solved with a newer build?

It almost always mean a hardware failure. Use your system vendor's hardware diagnostic utilities.
