Very Low HD performace on Lenovo SR650

Hello folks,

I have two servers Lenovo SR650 with ThinkSystem RAID 530-8i PCIe 12Gb Adapter with SAS 600Gx2 in Raid1.

They run Lenovo Customized Image ESXi 6.7 Update 3 (Build 16316930), and use the driver lsi_mr3.
I get very, very, very, low disk I/O performance in both servers...

I enable raid cache in IMM, but no luck, the performance remains the same.

Check this dd test of 1G, it takes 55 seconds.

time dd if=/dev/zero of=testfile bs=10M count=100
100+0 records in
100+0 records out
real    0m 54.98s

Any clue so solve that.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I read, this is a cacheless controller!?

Without write-back cache, a write speed with ~10-20MB/s is not unexpected.
