VSphere unexpected error, not well formed, Unexpected error

Hello group.

I have an unusual issue, i am getting the following error message to my email: vSphere unexpected error: <unknown>:65:29: not well-formed (invalid token) on IP x.x.x.x

I am running vmware  Version 6.0.0 Build 9154154

Client plug -in 6.0.0 Build 9116444

I cant seem to find anything in the logs for that specfic error, its very vague and not informative.

It came from one four esxi hosts.

has anyone else experienced this? What did you determine?

Thanks

Did you ever try to disconnect / remove the ESXi host and add it again to the vCenter?

Also check the /var/log/vpxa.log in the ESXi and vpxd.log in the vCenter

Amin, thanks for the response. I haven't had the downtime opportunity to try that task. Once i have downtime, Ill update with the outcome.

Warm regards,

Mike

Hello again and your welcome ...

Disconnecting and connecting from vCenter server, do not require to down the host, you can do whenever the ESXi is online, don't be worry. just remember if your hosts are inside a cluster, based on cluster settings, excluding the host may need a little downtime (activating maintenance mode)
