VSphere Hosts Version 6.5 Domain Change

Hello There

I have to integrate our VSphere Hosts wich are Version 6.5 into our new Active Directory Domain.

Now my question: Do I have to pay attention to something special? How can i get sure the Domain switch has no influence to my configuration / to  my VM's?

Is there an option to Backup my whole Hosts so I have a Fallbackup Plan? Or isn't that necessary for that?

Active directory is only and identity source for users, and doesn't effect vms, the only thing it would effect is permissions to access the vms.
