We have 2 Dell server with 6.7 u1 installed . All Vmware software with licensed.
We add the 2 exsi host to our AD domain and ad the vcsa server to AD domain too.
We create a AD group in AD for VM admin propose.
We login vcsa server with HTML5 client.
When we add the group in Global Permissions. But we can not find it. When we try some other user or groups. We found some of them can search it and add it. Some of them can not.
But
We create a local groups in Single Sign On and we add the new groups ( add it before) . it is done. Every groups and Every user can add the local groups .
We submit a case to VMware support. a VMware engineer remote check it for several times。but nothing was found.
Maybe you windows AD has some problem? VMware told us.
but we question them why can add it in SSO local groups and can not add in Global Permission.
Today. I call with my VM Friends. He told me that he always login with Flash web client. Can you try it.
When i login the flex web client. We can add groups and any User in AD in Global permission and SSO.
So . is it a bug in Html5 client?
