VMware tools unable to mount

Hi Team,

Please assist me on this Operation failed error, while mounting VMware tools on RedHat Linux5 VM getting below error, no existing CD/DVD drive mounted, running tools version are 10.x, can we assume most latest versions will not support based on below error.  Please suggest.

Hi , 

Can you check if the all the SYM Links are intact on the esxi , Login to esxi via root and run ls -l command and check if the symlink for locker and prodlocker are correct .

Can you mount the iso manually ?
Maybe the webinterface just has another of its weird moments ....
