VMware Tools. USB Mouse Driver does not update and warnings in Computer Management.

Hello.

On a Windows 2012 R2 under vSphere 6.5 U2 and ESXi 6.5 U2 the USB Mouse Driver will not update. The PS2 Mouse Driver did.

In Computer Management we see warnings for VMware Point Device.

"Location: plugged into PS/2 mouse port"

Device status: "The device cannot start. (Code 10) Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API."

and under Other devices:

Unknown device

"Location: on Intel 82371AB/EB PCI to ISA bridge (ISA mode)"

Device status: "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)"

Device instance path says "ACPI\PNP0303\4&205AD762&0"

also launching "Remote Console" from the cog in the mini screeen on the summary tab in vSphere as well as "launcing "Web Console" does not produce a screen other than a black one. Remote console using mstsc works.

Something went wrong during last VMware Tools update and I can't figure out to how to get these last details working.

Best Regards

Peter
