VMware ESXI 5.5: NIC driver for Realtek RTL8106E

Hi,

I am trying to install VMware ESXI 5.5 OS on physical computer but it gives error that "unable to find network adapter" and asks for reboot. By searching on internet, I came across symptoms of this error the VMware ESXI support limited network adapters. I know that it does not support Realttek 8106E adapter but I wanted to ask is there any driver (.vib) that is available that I can inject in ESXI OS ISO file which can support the mentioned network adapter. Nope it doesn't work, I tried injecting the following file "VMware_bootbank_net-r8168_8.013.00-3vmw.510.0.0.799733" but it is giving same error. Now I am thinking maybe my network adapter is not supported and also there is no external driver available for this network adapter

Possibility of the network adapter not being supported is one reason or the vib does not support the network adapter.

Yes! network adapter originally is not supported and vib also does not support the installed adapter. Thanks for the help anyways
