VMware Authentication Proxy Access List

Hi all

Wonder if you could help.  We are building a new cluster, using vSphere 7 Update 2, and are utilising Auto Deploy with the VMware Authentication Proxy.  When using the authentication proxy for ESXi hosts that have been installed using Auto Deploy the VMware documentation states that Auto Deploy adds these hosts automatically to the Authentication Proxy access list.

Using vSphere Authentication Proxy (vmware.com)

"vSphere Authentication Proxy stores the IP addresses of all hosts that Auto Deploy provisions using PXE in its access control list. When the host boots, it contacts vSphere Authentication Proxy, and vSphere Authentication Proxy joins those hosts, which are already in its access control list, to the Active Directory domain."

For other ESXi hosts the article says:

"In that case, you add the host's IP address to the vSphere Authentication Proxy access control list, and vSphere Authentication Proxy authorizes the host based on its IP address by default"

However we cannot find anywhere how you add hosts to the access control list.  Anyone know?

Thanks Sam
