Hello ,

Do they both belongs to same vlan segment?

Does HOST is having same IP what vCenter is looking for?

Thank you,

Umesh Shardul.

Do mark helpful if you feel this helps you by any mean.

Can you connect to host DCUI and test management network connectivity?

Also, try what is mentioned in the KB that was posted by Scott

1.Check the network connections between the vCenter Server and ESXi hosts via vCenter shell access with running one of the following commands:(see this link for more guide)

netstat -pan | grep {esxi_ip address}

lsof -i -P -n | grep {esxi_ip address}

2. You can disable and enable again the HA feature on your Cluster or select "Reconfigure for vSphere HA" on right-click menu on each member of that cluster.

3. Check the following log files in the ESXi host shell access:

cat /var/log/hostd.log | grep error

cat /var/log/vpxa.log | grep error
