VMotion fails in 50 to 60%

Hello All,

In our virtual environment we have 9 hosts cluster(Ver 5.5). When i try to migrate VM to another host the process ends in 50 to 60% and below error pop-up.

Could you please share your inputs about the possible causes.

Are you using a dedicated vMotion networking?

Can you please confirm that configuration on the VMKernel ports are correct? Also that vMotion isn't enabled on multiple VMKernel? Check source and destination.

Check the vmnic status on target esxi host

Also, Ping the management and vMotion ip from esxi hosts using vmkping

You can receive these kinds of alerts when vMotion networks cannot talk to each other. Is vMotion network separate? If separate, can you check the management network vMotion and try again?
