VMWare VSphere vs VMWare ESXI

Hello,

I am trying to install product which is supported on VMWare VSphere, version 6.0 ,6.7 and  7.0. So I am confused which one to be downloaded as I See 2 separate products in download section, VMware vSphere and VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi). Are they the same thing or different? Can I download either of these?

Thank you.

vSphere is the name of the suite which contains vCenter Server, and ESXi.

ESXi - no matter if it's the free Hypervisor, or a paid edition - has a common binary base, and the available features are locked/unlocked depending on the license entered.
