I have environments on version 6.5U3 and 6.7U3.
The latest build of 6.7 have the version 11.2.5 of vmware tools. I'm receiving some notifications from the security team, about CVE-2021-21997 (https://www.vmware.com/security/advisories/VMSA-2021-0011.html), where it says to upgrade to the vmware tools fixed version 11.3.0
Is it safe to upgrade all the windows vms that run on ESXI 6.5 and 6.7 to that version? Why on the latest build isn't the fixed version of vmware tools?
By the way, if it's safe to use that version on my environment, how can i put that version on the ESXi hosts to grant that new vms deployed had that version.
