VMWARE Healthcheck script

hi Team,

I am looking for a VMWARE health check report to add in schedule tasks for generating daily report

the Report Should contains,

VM name

RAM

CPU

vmdisks

vmnics

vmsnapshot including createdby

Alarms and event including last acknowledge and cleared by

Can you please help me in getting this.

try this one, we use it in our environment and generate reports every 24 hours.

thank you for the prompt response. I just wanted to know, any modifications I have to do under the script like VI Server change & output file path,.

please suggest.

you need to update your vcenter name, email recipient and smtp details. also you need to run the script with config parameter for first time. I copied the same for you from the site.

Configuring the script

The first time you run this script it will go through a configuration menu, this configuration will be saved and used for all future runs of the script.  If you want to go back through the configuration or you add new plugins to the script then please run the script with the –config parameter as follows:
