Hello
Try to compile spreadsheet of VMs that have VMTools installed/updated/running and timestamp when tools have been modified.
Looking for advise/instructions on how this can be done quickly.
Regards
RVtools may be doing what you want (the vTools tab - it reports whether vmware tools are installed and the version - and it exports to excel)

Thanks for prompt reply
I am aware of crafting report utilizing RVTools, however , time when tools have been installed/upgraded is something my boss wanted to know.
Looking more for script/command in powercli that would give me desired result
For PowerCLI questions check the PowerCLI community forum.
I'm not sure how to get the installation time with PowerCLI.
Ok sounds goodThanks again
