VM in Orphan state

Hi, i have an issue with a VM which is in orphan state. i check all hardware and there is no missing disks. Do you have any idea on which could be the issue?

Hi PIPA1984​ for removing the orphaned state the steps are the following:

1. Take note of the .vmx config file of your VM path.
2. Remove your VM from inventory (right click --> remove from inventory. do not click the remove from disk option since you'll delete the VM)
3. Re register your VM.
     3.a Browse the datastore you have noted in point 1 to the VM folder.
     3.b right click the .vmx file and click register
     3.c Select compute nodes (host/Cluster) and VM folder location.
4. Power on the VM

Regarding the possible causes:
It might be related to a failed HA failover or a hardware issue, it's worth checking the logs.
