VM en doublons sur LUN

Bonjour,

nous possédons un espace de stockage de nos VM découpé en 5 LUN (sur baie EMC).

Nous remarquons que certaines VM apparaissent sur 2 LUN différents, avec la même taille sur les 2 LUN, alors que son ou ses disque(s) virtuel(s) ne sont stockés que sur 1 LUN.

Pourtant il y a un lien (objets associés) avec un des autres LUN. La taille d'espace libre semble être faussée de ce fait.

Est-ce que vous sauriez d'où provient cette anomalie?

Those VM's might be using a DVD/Image from the other datastore. Check if there is any CD/DVD mounted on the VM's in question.

Sorry, my english isn't very good...

I have the same idea. CD/DVD (iso) is mounted, but I have disconnected this iso and reboot the VM, but the LUN 5 is always associated with the VM.

I don't understand... what is the link between this VM and the LUN

Change the CD/DVD settings from 'Datastore ISO Image' to 'Client Device' and refresh the page. If the issue persists, unregister the VM from the vCenter and re-register it back to the vCenter.

Great! it's ok with that

only one VM don't want exit from LUN5

what do you mean by "unregister and register"?

Unregister - Right click on the VM --> Remove from Inventory

Register - Add the VM back to vCenter Inventory
