VM Shutdown unexpected; Cant find a solution

Hey guys,

hope you can help me out, cause I have no idea what I can try to find a solution..

Problem:

just 1 of 3 virtual Server in our ESX Host shutdown unexpected, irregular and irreproducible.

No helpful logs or errors; either on ESX logs or Windows logs.

No Windows dumpfiles was created.

Shutdown today was during worktime.

Energy / standbysettings are the same on all server.

Setup:

VMware ESXi 5.5.0

Build 9919047

Virtual Server is Windows Server 2019 Version 1809 Build 17763.1217

(all updates installed)

Attached a Screenshot from datastore as well as the vmware.log

Hope you can help me guys!

Thx!

Kind regards,

Richard

You should be aware that 5.5 has been out of support for sometime now - the oldest version still in support is 6.5 so you should look to upgrade if possible.

This will also mean that Server 2019 won't be supported running on 5.5.

I'm not saying that an upgrade will resolve your current issue though.
