Greetings,
We've replaces VMCA certificate to the subordinate one from our internal root CA. Now web client and VAMI shows connection is secured. After that we've reissued certificates for our ESXi hosts, so that they also uses trusted certificates. But we are facing some strange issue. When I'm popping up the VM's remote console from web client I see the following warning
It says "certificate is not trusted". If I will look into the certificate I can see it is issued by the VMCA's new certificate for sure, BUT it is not showing me the certification chain
The warning above says "Unable to find certificate's issuer"
If I will look into my web console certificate I will see the chain in place
Can anyone tell me the reason certification chain is not shown when the VM remote console pops up?
What version of the VMRC are you using here, and with what version of vSphere?
VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.5.0.14100
VMware® Remote Console 10.0.2 build-7096020
Anyone faced this issue?
