VCSA crashes when disconnecting a CD

We just upgraded to 6.5 update 1 and when disconnecting the CD from the external PSC and the vCenter itself, it just froze up and had to be rebooted. This did not happen with our 4 other environments, so I am wondering if anyone else has seen this magical new feature. Oh and after reboot the ISO was still there and it locked it up again with a question about the OS locking the CD- not a lot of fun at all

Thanks in advance

Have not seen this come up, were you able to get the ISO disconnected?  Was there any events in the logs prior to this happening?

Hey,

I don't know if you or anyone has this issue.

But I was facing this situation, where the vCenter Server Appliance 6.5 chrashed right after unmounting the ISO.

I needed to get connected to the ESXi host directly and disabled the cd-rom. No further errors occured.

Best regards!
