Upgrade Path ESXi 6.5 to ESXi 6.7

Hi Community,

we would like to upgrade our ESXi 6.5U2 servers to ESXi 6.7.

According to VMware the Upgrade path from 6.5U2 to 6.7 does not work:

Are ESXi 6.5 with the latest patch ok? (should be build 9298722)

If not, is there a workaround?

Yes you cannot upgrade ESXi 6.5 U2 to 6.7 :

Are ESXi 6.5 with the latest patch ok? (should be build 9298722)

This build also contains the latest Microcode- and Security patches. Unless you need any of the new features that came with ESXi 6.7, you're fine.
