Unable to mount USB 3.0 to VMs via Windows 10

Hi,

I've migrated my machine to a Windows 10 1809 x64 and installed vSphere Client 6.0.  However, I'm unable to mount USB 3.0 drives - 2.0 works just fine.  I can also see both 3.0 and 2.0 on my own machine just fine.

The Intel chipset my new machine uses, uses a Micorosft USB 3.0 Driver and reading on Intel's website, this is satisfactory and thus do not have a driver for Windows 10.  Also, looking at the complete driver utility for my Q270 chipset, the readme notes say updating this will not fix USB issues so I haven't bothered trying it.

Has anyone come across this and know a fix?  I've reinstalled my vSphere client from a new download from VMWare with no luck.

Very frustrating!!!

Many Thanks,

Brad
