Question :

following the directions in this tech note: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.7/com.vmware.vsphere.storage.doc/GUID-EC4B7E67-9802-4BFE...  I turned off two of the four storage filters when i couldn't expand LUNs from 1 TB to 5Tb - i had no issue creating datastores from new LUNs or expanding existing smaller units  I was able to do  the expansion once the filters were turned off. However i am unable to turn them back on now! if i set them to "true" i can still expand  large drives with out issue. How do i restore the default settings?

Setting it to "TRUE" is the default value.

What is the confusion? Just set it to true and you are back to the way it was.

Setting it to TRUE should not prevent you expanding any datastore.

These filter prevent VMFS datastore to be presented as an RDM or RDM formatted as VMFS.
