Storage with two host esxi accessing datastore

Hello,

can I configure a single datastore in an iSCSI storage with two esxi hosts doing concurrent access?

I remember that VMFS provides this possibility.

Thank you.

Again, it doesn't matter. As long as the storage is presented to both hosts, they both can read/write to it.

Yes, that's how VMFS storage is designed to work.

My question was not complete.

Can I share a same VMFS between different hosts without DRS or HA?

I do not have vCenter to use Vmware Cluster.

Thank you.

Yes, VMFS has nothing to do with DRS or HA.

asajm is it really necessary to repeat exactly what I've said? What value does this add?

The end user has not purchased vcenter.

He bought the storage just to have more performance.
